We had terrible mud and rain, but what's better than training in worst conditions? See more in our Training Section
We start our trip in Bogota, leaving the capital of Colombia into northern direction to Barichara. Leaving the 8 million city is a little adventure by itself before hitting the rolling hills of the Departamento de Santander. Barichara itself is a beautiful little Spanish colonial style town.
The next days we head north of Barichara via Sabana de Torres to Puerto Boyaca where we slept in the middle of nowhere!
To arrive at our lodge we need to take a boat from our parking lot, to finally relax in hammocks in middle of the Colombian jungle.
Leaving the jungle we hit dirt tracks up to 4000 metres in elevation to hot springs.
The coffee region of Colombia is probably one of the most famous world wide. Have you ever tasted Colombian coffee before?
After our rest day in Salento we head towards Medellin. One of the most progressive cities worldwide regarding the Harvard Business Review 2014.
We only can support that statement after visiting this magnificent metropolitan :)
From Medellin we start our final three days of the journey towards Cartagena!
