Tour description
Day  01 Arrival in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Your adventure begins! We meet at 17:00 for a welcome briefing and you will receive the most important information for the next few days.

Day  02 Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Livigno

Our tour begins in Garmisch-Partenkirchen at the foot of the Zugspitze (2,962m), the highest mountain in Germany. The first day's ride takes us through the Bavarian Alps, where we visit one of King Ludwig's legendary castles, to Austria and on to Italy. Livigno, declared a duty-free zone by Napoleon due to its exposed location, which used to be almost inaccessible in winter, is a ski resort in the Italian Alps near the Swiss border and our destination for today.

Day  03 Livigno - Grindelwald

We start with spectacular views of snow-covered peaks and glaciers, leave the Bernina Pass (2,235 m) behind us and ride through the heart of the Swiss Alps, enjoying the ride along crystal-clear lakes and majestic mountain panoramas. The roads meander past idyllic Swiss villages, through green valleys and finally bring us to Grindelwald, our destination for today's stage. The breathtaking view of the Eiger (3,970 m), Mönch (4,099 m) and Jungfrau (4,158 m) brings this spectacular day's ride to a close.

Day  04 Rest day Grindelwald

Grindelwald is the perfect place for a rest day. The backdrop of the Eiger North Face, Wetterhorn and the countless viewpoints and activities make Grindelwald one of the most popular and cosmopolitan vacation and excursion destinations in Switzerland. You can decide whether to take the Jungfrau Railway to the highest railroad station in Europe at 3,454 m, in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch", or get on the saddle of your motorcycle and enjoy the spectacular panoramic roads in this region of Switzerland.

Day  05 Grindelwald - Feldkirch

Today our journey takes us right through the heart of the Swiss Alps. Crystal-clear lakes and breathtaking mountain panoramas alternate throughout the day. A ferry ride across Lake Lucerne is a real treat and a welcome break in the middle of this spectacular scenery before we cross the border into Austria to reach Feldkirch. During a walk through the medieval old town, one of the most beautiful in the area, you can marvel at historic buildings, pretty fountains and the historic Schattenburg castle.

Day  06 Feldkirch - Garmisch-Partenkirchen

We leave Feldkirch and head back into the mountains on winding roads. We ride along the Lech, one of the last wild rivers in Europe, through the Lech Valley and then through mountain villages at the foot of the Zugspitze, before arriving back in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and looking forward to a visit to the BMW Motorrad Days in Garmisch.

Day  07 Visit *BMW Motorrad Days* in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

We spend the last day and evening of our tour on the grounds of the *BMW Motorrad Days* in Garmisch.

Day  08 Departure from Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Have a safe journey home! We hope to see you again soon on one of our tours.
