BMW Motorrad Days GARMISCH Rome to Garmisch

All roads lead to Rome? Maybe. But we set off from the "Eternal City" to visit the world's largest BMW motorcycle meeting after an unforgettable motorcycle adventure, which is once again taking place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the middle of the Alps in the "Year of the GS".

We meet in the "Eternal City" of Rome and switch into vacation mode, which is very easy in the heart of Italy. Enjoy a relaxing evening in a breathtaking city. Our first stage takes us to Florence, one of the most important cities of the Middle Ages. We have a rest day in Florence for those who are fascinated by the history of the Medici and want to travel back in time, or simply enjoy the Italian lifestyle and fashion while shopping. The Apennine Mountains, which stretch across the whole of Italy, are always good for a surprise and offer winding roads with gentle curves in a perfect climate for motorcyclists. Nothing stands in the way of a varied ride on a rest day followed by a visit to the old town of Florence. We continue our journey in the footsteps of the most important medieval families and reach the "City of Water", the "Queen of the Adriatic", the "City of Masks", the "City of Bridges", the "Floating City", the "City of Canals" or simply called Venice. We will stay a little outside of Venice, as we cannot enter the "City of Water" on our motorcycles. On the second rest day, we will have the opportunity to visit the canal city on foot or by boat. From Venice we head north into the famous Dolomites, one pass after another takes us to the Seiser Alm, Europe's largest high alpine pasture. After two rest days in fascinating towns, we now have a rest day in the middle of the world-famous Dolomites, El Dorado for motorcyclists, cyclists, hikers and climbers. Whether relaxing in the wellness area of the hotel, on foot or on the motorcycle, this rest day has something for everyone. From the Seiser Alm, we ride all day along Alpine roads to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the host town of the BMW Motorrad Days. The tour offers a wide range of cultural highlights, alpine mountain roads, the beautiful landscape around the rolling hills of Tuscany and the Italian, Austrian and German Alps.
