This varied tour through Cantabria combines the rugged Atlantic coast, green valleys, idyllic lakes, and the spectacular mountain scenery of the Picos de Europa. From our base in Puente Viesgo, we set out each day on a new loop tour to discover some of northern Spain’s most beautiful landscapes. Along the Cantabrian coast, we’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlantic, small coastal towns, and scenic roads, while other stages take us deep into the lush hinterland of Cantabria. A special highlight is the Picos de Europa, whose rugged peaks form a striking contrast to the lush green valleys of northern Spain. Winding mountain roads take us through spectacular landscapes, past small, unspoiled villages, and time and again to breathtaking viewpoints. The lake and valley regions of Cantabria also reveal a completely different side of northern Spain, making each of the four loops a unique experience. In terms of riding, the tour also offers plenty of variety: winding mountain roads, small side roads, easily navigable gravel sections, and a wide variety of landscapes ensure that no two riding days are alike. What makes this tour special: We return to Puente Viesgo every evening, allowing us to explore the various regions at a leisurely pace without having to change hotels daily.
